The Melbourne Chamber of Commerce is part of a network of organisations that encourages the growth of Victorian business, headed by the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Each part concentrates on its own specialist areas, but we are united by a common purpose; to develop capabilities and business strengths as well as bringing influential companies and leaders together.
We are part of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Victorian Chamber members are mainly small to medium business, and the Melbourne Chamber works with large and corporate organisations. Since 1851 we have been the largest, most influential business group in Victoria, with our services, expertise and advocacy supporting business, innovation, leadership and growth.
Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) delivers skills development advice and solutions to employers and jobseekers across the country. The Victorian Chamber delivers ASA services in Victoria. Since 1998, we have partnered with more than 70,000 businesses and signed up more than 200,000 apprentices and trainees through our Australian Apprenticeship Centre. Administered independently but benefiting from the 168-year heritage of the Chamber, the team offers a range of services covering every stage of the apprenticeship cycle.
The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) is Australia’s largest and most representative business network. ACCI’s members are state and territory chambers of commerce, national industry associations and a council of business leaders from individual enterprises. Together, they represent businesses across the country of all shapes and sizes, spanning all sectors of the economy.
